




Our CPG client is seeking a Social Media Director! This is a full-time role, hybrid with 3+ days onsite in Culver City.
As the Social Media Director, you'll lead the client's social media strategy across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts. You'll be responsible for building brand love, driving performance, and keeping the client culturally relevant through compelling, data-informed content.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Own and execute the social media strategy across all major platforms and emerging channels.
- Concept, shoot, and edit short-form, platform-native video content that reflects the clients brand voice.
- Manage the content calendar, publish daily posts, and engage with the community.
- Partner with influencers from micro to celebrity and identify high-converting talent for campaigns.
- Monitor trends, memes, sounds, and creators to keep the client on the cultural front foot.
- Use data and analytics to measure performance and optimize content strategy.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Brand, Creative, Retail, and Product Marketing teams.
- Represent the brand in influencer and celebrity collaborations when needed.
- Stay current on platform best practices and algorithm changes, and communicate insights clearly.
- Bring fresh, innovative ideas to keep the brand performance-driven and creatively led.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- 7+ years of experience managing social media for a high-growth brand, ideally in wellness, lifestyle, or CPG.
- Strong understanding of both DTC and brick-and-mortar environments, including retail-driven content.
- A hybrid mindset: creative storyteller and performance marketer.
- Proven ability to create and edit content quickly using mobile and in-house tools.
- Deep fluency in social trends and digital culture you live and breathe TikTok and Instagram.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Experience building relationships with influencers and creators, from grassroots to celebrity.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for wellness, culture, and using social to build brand connection.
- Availability to work onsite in Culver City, CA, or in the field at least 3 days per week.
