Your Team's Impact
The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in our SCRUM processes, backlog management, sprint planning, and production support, serving as a key liaison between Business and IT stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and alignment on project objectives. This position requires excellent communication skills, strong analytical abilities, and an ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

What You'll Do

  • Facilitate vision workshops with stakeholders to help define and document business needs and solution vision.

  • Conduct scope and cost/benefit analysis. Gather high level business requirements through various requirements elicitation techniques.

  • Progressively elaborate and document user requirements into user stories and use cases.

  • Analyze business rules and define data elements and validation needed.

  • Participate in daily SCRUM calls, clarifying user stories, and maintaining accountability for deliverables.

  • Prioritize and manage the backlog, assisting story owners in achieving accurate stack ranking and meeting review board standards.

  • Conduct daily backlog review, ensuring stories are detailed and properly ranked, and facilitate regular grooming meetings with IT and QA teams.

  • Lead sprint planning by selecting stories aligned with team capacity and cadence metrics, negotiating scope for successful sprint completion.

  • Organize and conduct internal sprint reviews, prepare release notes, and oversee sprint release planning and sign-off.

  • Coordinate annual DR/BC cutover with IT teams, manage testing protocols, and ensure final business sign-off.

  • Monitor production support emails, categorize issues, create tracking tickets, and oversee their resolution.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelors degree required

  • 5+ years of professional experience in a project management or product ownership position

  • Experience with SCRUM methodologies and backlog management.

  • Proven skills in project management and sprint planning.

  • Ability to manage production support and ensure timely issue resolution.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate cross-functional teams.

The budgeted salary range for this position in the state of New York is $90,000 - $112,000.
