Senior Sourcing Specialist – IT Procurement
Where will you work: This position will be located at our NA business headquarters at 13830 Circa Crossing Drive | Lithia, FL. Hybrid with three dedicated office days of Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday with the opportunity to work from home Wednesday and Friday. You will also be eligible to work a 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off.
Mosaic is looking for someone to join our IT Sourcing team, where you'll play a crucial role in supporting key projects that drive Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). In this position, you'll assist with the strategic sourcing of Mosaic technologies and related services. Your day-to-day activities will involve managing sourcing efforts; reporting, analysis, data management; and, measuring and benchmarking technology vendor capabilities and pricing. What you’ll do:
Manage IT contract renewals
Participate and lead IT sourcing projects using the 9-step process, including supplier market analysis, RFP/RFI development, supplier evaluation, proposal analysis, and communication
Work closely with the Manager of IT Procurement and Global Procurement leadership during vendor negotiations
Provide analytical support for strategic sourcing projects aimed at controlling the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) in IT and other key spend areas
Track and report trends in spending and usage in key IT categories.
Benchmark Mosaic costs against key market indicators (PPI, CPI, commodity pricing) to ensure competitive pricing
Manage contract repository including document uploads, content management, metadata association, content audits, and contract reporting
Interact with Business Units, IT vendors, and Legal during the drafting process of commercial and non-commercial terms and conditions
Conduct initial analysis of vendor contracts and identify content and/or language gaps for legal review
Develop and negotiate contractual terms and conditions.
Provide oversight for review and execution of key vendor contracts. Provide updates on contract related reports.
Develop and update calendar of events for critical contract renewals and follow up with internal and external teams.
Support onboarding of new vendors
Collaborate with IT Vendor Management to monitor contractor and supplier performance versus commercially agreed terms
What you’ll need:
Bachelor's degree in law and legal studies, business management, or other quantitative disciplines.
5+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, contract negotiations, enterprise sales, vendor management, and/or information technology
Enterprise Business Systems experience
Microsoft Office Suite
Bonus points if you have the following:
CPM, CPSM, OR CPSD certification
Experience with Ariba, Fieldglass, Maximo, SAP, Coupa or similar system
Working knowledge of project management tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, MS Project, or similar
