Job Title: Sourcing Specialist II
Location: Onsite at Client HQ in Juno Beach, FL
Industry: Renewable Energy
Duration: Long-term contract (1-2 years+ opportunity to convert perm)
Rate: $30-35/hr
Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Sourcing Specialist to manage the sourcing process for designated business areas. This role involves preparing basic sourcing agreements, ensuring compliance with company policies, and supporting procurement strategies to secure services and materials efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:- Execute sourcing activities for assigned business units.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders including legal, operations, and supply chain teams.
- Engage with external suppliers and industry analysts.
- Analyze supplier bids and summarize commercial differences to support supplier selection.
- Conduct and lead basic negotiations.
- Participate in or lead sourcing project teams.
- Communicate sourcing strategies, progress, and outcomes to leadership.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
- Perform market and industry analysis to support supplier evaluation and selection.
- Monitor supplier performance and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
- Support data analysis, forecasting, and sourcing planning efforts.
- Ensure compliance with corporate, legal, and environmental standards in all dealings.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in supply chain or procurement.
- Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage high-volume workloads in fast-paced environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Excellent customer service orientation and communication abilities.
