We are currently seeking a Human Resources Manager to support our teams by providing comprehensive HR leadership and strategic guidance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with operations leaders and general managers to provide support and guidance on employee relations, including investigations and resolution strategies.
- Advise on performance management, employee development, and corrective action.
- Lead and develop a high-performing HR team, providing mentorship, guidance, and support.
- Oversee third-party leave administration (TAM), driving process improvements and internal training initiatives.
- Respond to internal inquiries related to HR policies, procedures, and compliance.
- Ensure company adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Maintain and update employee handbooks and support OSHA compliance initiatives.
- Assist in the development and implementation of recruitment strategies, compensation plans, performance evaluations, and benefit programs.
- Provide training on HR systems, policies, and regulations.
- Support unemployment claims, workers' compensation reviews, and accommodation processes.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR practices and organizational goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
- Minimum 5 years of generalist HR experience, with 1-3 years in a supervisory capacity.
- 1-3 years of experience handling employee relations matters.
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Experience in senior housing, healthcare, or hospitality is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with HRIS systems (experience with ADP and is a plus!).
