District Manager - Dallas/Fort Worth, TX

What You'll Do
With a focus on driving sales through operational excellence, talent development and succession planning for key store leadership throughout the district, you will build close partnerships with leaders across the organization, executing strategies for Customer Experience, Operations, Merchandise Presentation, Loss Prevention, Human Resources and Business Development. You will be part of a dynamic team of experts focused on driving sales and providing our customers with a best-in-class experience with the world's leading off-price retailer.
- Lead a district of 10+ high-production retail stores, with a total volume exceeding $180 million
- Grow sales, drive company initiatives, and empower associates to embody our company-culture throughout the district
- Build and lead a team of Store Managers, Assistant Store Managers, and high potential store associates to achieve sales and profit goals through people development and operational excellence
- Advise the efforts of 30-60 exempt and 600 non-exempt TJ Maxx Team Members
- Oversee the on-going development of your team members, including the succession planning and talent mapping for key store leadership roles
- Monitor and influence the day-to-day operations for the District and ensure the business meets established operations standards and merchandise presentation expectations
- Work collaboratively with Loss Prevention in order to decrease shrink and increase awareness
Who We Are Looking For: You.
You have experience working within highly complex, high velocity, retail store environments in addition to having a deep understanding of developing leadership skills in others. You have a history of demonstrated success with building and maintaining solid relationships with your team to create an environment of transparency and inclusivity. You are a big picture thinker that can build, implement, embed, and evolve Operational strategies in partnership with key stakeholders across the Region. Furthermore, you have an ability to diagnose and identify trends, themes, and skill gaps in order to maximize the efficiencies of District performance.
The Skills You Will Bring:
- 10+ years of progressive retail experience, with 5+ years of experience of leading a complex, multi-store environment, producing an annual sales volume of $100 million+
- A solid understanding of Store Operations, Merchandising, and Human resources
- Deep expertise in mentoring, motivating and educating your teams in order to drives sales strategies
- The ability to build and maintain partnerships with cross functional partners in areas such as Loss Prevention, Human Resources and Distribution Services
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop Associates at all levels, including succession planning and building talent pipelines for future leadership roles
- A proven track record of prioritizing several competing time sensitive tasks

This position has a starting salary range of $124800-$162200.00 per year.
Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
This position is eligible for an annual incentive as well as long-term incentives.
