





Embark on a transformative journey at Barclays as an Equities Market Risk VP. Your role will be to set the risk capacity setting for the trading portfolio and dynamic calibration & monitoring of limits.
To be successful as an Equities Market Risk VP, you should have experience with:
Advanced experience performing mathematical modelling and risk assessment for a global financial services firm with understanding of equities markets, equity derivative products and pricing/risking models
Comfortability working against tight short-term deadlines with multiple workflows in a dynamic pressurized environment
Demonstrated ability to inspire colleagues, gets along with people
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Established understanding of various measures such as P&L Explain, Stress testing and Greeks
Demonstrated ability to engage with and inquire trading teams to ensure scalable controlled risk capacity
Interest in looking for opportunities for efficiencies in the team and across the firm

Minimum Salary $150,000
Maximum Salary $200,000

Purpose of the role
To set the risk appetite setting for the Trading portfolio and active calibration & monitoring of limits
Accountabilities
- Collection and analysis of market data from various sources and ensuring risk is correctly captured, modelled and capitalised.
- Escalation of critical risk issues or breaches to Traders and senior Risk Management Leadership teams for timely action, as may be required.
- Review and provision of feedback on market risk models including change governance.
- Internal, Regulatory and Scenario stress testing for the Trading portfolio, as required.
- Steer and execution projects of market risk wide-significance e.g. FRTB, One Risk, as required.
