Location: Boone, NC Job Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday - Friday (Day Shift) Setting: Outpatient ABA Clinic

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Clinical Director (BCBA) to lead the clinical and operational functions of our ABA clinic in Boone, NC. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing clinic operations, ensuring high-quality ABA services, supervising clinical staff, and supporting positive outcomes for children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder and related developmental disabilities.

The Clinical Director will collaborate closely with leadership, families, and interdisciplinary teams to maintain compliance with BACB ethical standards, BHCOE quality standards, and funding source requirements while fostering a positive and supportive clinic culture.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and oversight for ABA therapy services, ensuring quality care and compliance with BACB, BHCOE, and company standards.
  • Conduct behavioral and developmental assessments including VB-MAPP, Vineland, PEAK, AFLS, SRS, and other standardized tools.
  • Develop, implement, monitor, and update individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention programs.
  • Supervise, mentor, and support RBTs, BCaBAs, student analysts, and other clinical staff through ongoing training, feedback, and performance management.
  • Manage clinic operations including caseload oversight, scheduling coordination, staffing support, safety compliance, and facility management.
  • Collaborate with families and caregivers by conducting parent training, providing educational support, and addressing concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Utilize CentralReach and other data collection systems to monitor learner progress, analyze treatment outcomes, and ensure accurate clinical documentation and authorization updates.
Qualifications & Experience Required
  • Master's degree or higher in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required.
  • Active North Carolina licensure (or eligibility to obtain licensure).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a BCBA; leadership or Clinical Director experience preferred.
  • Completion of the BACB 8-hour Supervision Course preferred.
  • Experience supervising RBTs and clinical teams in clinic-based and/or home-based ABA settings.
  • Strong knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorder, developmental disabilities, and evidence-based ABA interventions.
  • Experience using CentralReach or similar EMR/practice management platforms preferred.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
