Job Summary
Hybrid position located in Dallas, TX
The Manager of Specialty Transformation leads efforts to improve patient access across specialties by identifying and addressing barriers within scheduling, decision trees, and care delivery pathways. This role partners with clinical and operational teams to redesign workflows, optimize and maintain scheduling decision trees, implement access-enhancing initiatives, and monitor key performance indicators. Responsibilities include aligning transformation efforts with organizational goals, supporting leaders in driving sustainable change, and contributing to strategic planning and resource allocation related to access.
Essential Functions of the Role
- Leads daily transformation operations, including project assignments, stakeholder engagement, workflow redesign, and coordination across clinical and administrative teams.
- Is accountable for implementing and sustaining access and optimization initiatives within assigned specialty areas.
- Oversees planning, testing, implementation, and continuous improvement of access transformation projects using approved methodologies and data insights.
- Provides training and coaching on new workflows, tools, and processes to support operational adoption.
- Partners with cross-functional teams to improve scheduling workflows, capacity management, referral coordination, and patient throughput.
- Leads or supports the development and documentation of business requirements, success metrics, and change strategies in partnership with operational and clinical leaders.
- Maintains working knowledge of healthcare access tools, technologies, and industry best practices related to specialty care.
- Develops and maintains detailed project plans, timelines, and resource estimates for key transformation milestones.
